Warren Nunn

Warren Nunn

Warren is the President and CEO of Security Bancorp, the holding company for Security Bank. Warren has spent his life in banking starting his career at Union Planters National Bank in Memphis before returning to Halls in 1972.  He has been on the Security Bank Board of Directors since 1978. He has served on boards and various committees of The University of Memphis, Dyersburg State Community College, Union University and the Baptist Hospital System. He was recently elected to the Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Memphis where he will serve a three year term. He has overseen the tremendous growth of the organization during his time with the bank. Warren is also co-owner of Tennessee Tractor, which owns nine John Deere dealerships and employs 150 people in nine counties in West Tennessee. He is also President of Ardmore Telephone Company based in Ardmore, Alabama and serves on the Board of Directors of United Telephone Company in Chapel Hill, Tennessee. Warren is a graduate of the University of Memphis. He and his wife Eleanor live in Halls and have two sons and 6 grandchildren.


David Hayes

David Hayes

David joined Security Bank in 1991 after spending 25 years with Union Planters National Bank in Memphis. He is very active in all aspects of the community in Dyersburg and nationwide with the Independent Community Bankers Association. He served as Chairman of the ICBA for 2005- 2006. He has been a valuable resource in making Community Banks concerns heard nationwide. He is responsible for the operations and technology planning for the Holding Company in addition to serving as President of Security Bank. David also serves on the boards of Security Bank, Gates Banking and Trust Company, The Bank of Jackson and Patriot Bank. David attended the University of Memphis and the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He and his wife Sara live in Dyersburg and have 2 children and 2 grandchildren.


Dotty Jones

Dotty Jones

Dotty has a long, successful history in the banking industry.  She came to Security Bank in 1995 from Union Planters.  She is currently the Executive Vice President and CAO of Security Bank, and has been on the Board of Directors since 1995.  She is heavily involved in the Gibson County community.  She serves on the YMCA Board, Gibson General Healthcare Board, and the Trenton Special School District Board among many other community activities.  She and her late husband Billy C Jones have 3 children and 4 grandchildren.  She is a very active member of First Baptist Church of Trenton.


Jimmy Flowers

Jimmy Flowers

Jimmy has been a constant pillar of the Dyer County Community for many years.  He began serving on the Security Bank Board of Directors in 1972.  He was self employed for many years by owning Flowers Insurance.  He has since retired and is very active in organizations such as Rotary and First Baptist Church in Newbern.  He and his wife Athlyne have 1 daughter and 2 grandchildren.


Jim Horner

Jim Horner

Jim began serving on the Board or Directors in 1998.  He owns his own Dentist practice in Dyersburg along with two other dentists.  He is involved in many activities that focus on the needs of the community. He believes in helping others through mentoring, education, self improvement, and enrichment.  He and his wife Liz have 2 children and 2 grandchildren.  They attend First United Methodist Church of Dyersburg.


Stoy Permenter

Stoy Permenter

Stoy began his tenure on the Board of Directors in 1980.  Stoy, now retired, has been in vegetable farming for over 50 years.  Considered one of Dyer County’s premiere farmers, Stoy has worked hard over the decades to ensure the people of Dyer County not only are fed by his produce but are also educated on how vegetables are grown.  He and his wife Doris attend Finley Methodist Church.  They have 2 children and 4 grandchildren.


Ellen Moore

Ellen Moore

Ellen has been an active member on the Board of Directors since 2000.  She is employed in home and has dedicated her life to improving the community.  She won the Dyersburg/Dyer County Woman of the Year due to her efforts in the community.  She has been on the Dyersburg City Beautiful Commission for over 25 years and is currently serving as president.  She has served on boards such as the Habitat for Humanity, YMCA, American Heart Association, and United Way.  She and her husband Fred have two daughters and attend First United Methodist Church in Dyersburg.


Bill Adcock

Bill Adcock

Bill came onto the Board of Directors in 1995.  He owned All-Wear, a blue jeans manufacturer, in Newbern, TN.  He was named the small business man of the year in 1981 for his contributions to not only the business world but also the philanthropic world.  Once selling All-Wear to Wrangler Jeans, he became very involved with Dyersburg State Community College.  He served as the Chairman of the DSCC Foundation from 2000-2006 and was honored with the prestigious Regents Leadership Award of Excellence in Philanthropy and the Pinnacle Award, Dyersburg State Community College's highest honor.  He and his wife Mary attend First Baptist Church in Newbern and have three children and five grandchildren.


J C Castellaw

J C Castellaw

J C joined the Security Bank Board of Directors in 1998.  JC was the President of CaRe Petroleum until the late 1990s.  He then retired and has been an avid golfer in his spare time.  He and CaRe Petroleum are contributors to the charitable organizations around Dyer County through time and funding.  He and his wife Charlotte have three children and 3 grandchildren.  They are members of First Baptist Church of Dyersburg.


Patrick Heckethorn

Patrick is the President of Heckethorn Off Road Products (Rough Country).  He has been serving on the Security Bank Board of Directors for 16 years.  He and his wife Amy are dedicated citizens of Dyer County that care about the community and do all they can to improve it.  They have four children and are members of First United Methodist Church of Dyersburg.


Donald Hogue

Donald Hogue

Donald is currently President of the Bank of Halls and the Bank of Crockett. He also serves on the boards of the Bank of Halls, Bank of Crockett, Gates Banking and Trust Company and Security Bank. Donald started with the Bank of Halls in 1962 and worked at the bank for 5 years before leaving to become a head bank examiner for the Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions in 1968. He worked in that capacity for nine years before returning to the bank in 1977. Donald attended Union University. He and his wife Patty live in Halls and have two children and 6 grandchildren.


Nick Nunn

Nick Nunn

Nick is the Chief Investment Officer for Security Bancorp. Nick started his career in 1993 in the Fixed Income Division of Morgan Keegan in Memphis. He worked as an Institutional Fixed Income Broker before leaving to join Security Bancorp in 2005. He serves on the Board of Directors for the six banks and subsidiary banks associated with Security Bancorp.  He joined the Security Bank Board in 2005.   Nick manages the investment portfolio for all six banks in the organization. He is also Treasurer of United Telephone Company based in Chapel Hill, Tennessee. Nick is a graduate of Auburn University. He and his wife Kara live in Memphis and have 3 children.


Chris Nunn

Chris, Chief Financial Officer, of Security Bancorp has been on the Security Bank Board for 7 years.  Chris joined the organization in 2002 after auditing financial institutions for KPMG in Memphis. Chris handles the financial analysis and reporting for the bank holding company and its subsidiary institutions. He serves on the Board of Directors of all the banks and subsidiary banks associated with Security Bancorp. He is also Treasurer of Ardmore Telephone Company based in Ardmore, Alabama. Chris is a graduate of Rhodes College. He and his wife Kim live in Memphis and have 3 children.
