Warren Nunn

Warren Nunn

Warren is the President and CEO of Security Bancorp, the holding company for Security Bank. Warren has spent his life in banking starting his career at Union Planters National Bank in Memphis before returning to Halls in 1972.  He has been on the Security Bank Board of Directors since 1978. He has served on boards and various committees of The University of Memphis, Dyersburg State Community College, Union University and the Baptist Hospital System. He was previously elected to the Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Memphis where he served a three year term. He has overseen the tremendous growth of the organization during his time with the bank. Warren is also co-owner of Tennessee Tractor, which owns 10 John Deere dealerships and employs 350 people in 10 counties in West Tennessee. Warren is a graduate of the University of Memphis. He and his wife Eleanor live in Halls and have two sons and six grandchildren.


David Hayes

David Hayes

David joined Security Bank in 1991 after spending 25 years with Union Planters National Bank in Memphis. He is very active in all aspects of the community in Dyersburg and nationwide with the Independent Community Bankers Association serving as Chairman for 2005- 2006. He currently serves as Chairman of the Dyersburg Electric Company and the Dyer County Industrial Development Board. He formerly served as President of Security Bank from 1991-2022 and now serves as Vice Chairman of the Board for Security Bank. David also serves on the boards of The Bank of Jackson and Patriot Bank. David attended the University of Memphis and the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He and his wife Sara live in Dyersburg and have 2 children and 2 grandchildren.


Ellen Moore

Ellen Moore

Ellen has been an active member on the Board of Directors since 2000.  She is employed in home and has dedicated her life to improving the community.  She won the Dyersburg/Dyer County Woman of the Year due to her efforts in the community.  She has been on the Dyersburg City Beautiful Commission for over 25 years and is currently serving as president.  She has served on boards such as the Habitat for Humanity, YMCA, American Heart Association, and United Way.  She and her husband Fred have two daughters and attend First United Methodist Church in Dyersburg.


J C Castellaw

J C Castellaw

J C joined the Security Bank Board of Directors in 1998.  JC was the President of CaRe Petroleum until the late 1990s.  He then retired and has been an avid golfer in his spare time.  He and CaRe Petroleum are contributors to the charitable organizations around Dyer County through time and funding.  He and his wife Charlotte have three children and 4 grandchildren.  They are members of First Baptist Church of Dyersburg.



Donald Hogue

Donald Hogue

Donald is the Secretary/ Treasurer of Security Bancorp and President of the Bank of Halls. He also serves on the boards of the Bank of Halls, Bank of Crockett, Gates Banking and Trust Company and Security Bank. Donald started with the Bank of Halls in 1962 and worked at the bank for 5 years before leaving to become a bank examiner for the Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions in 1968. He worked in that capacity for nine years before returning to the bank in 1977. Donald attended Union University and is a graduate of the School for Bank Administration at the University of Wisconsin. He and his wife Patty live in Halls and have two children and 6 grandchildren.


Nick Nunn

Nick started his career in 1993 in the Fixed Income Division of Morgan Keegan in Memphis. He was a Senior Vice President working as a broker before leaving to join Security Bancorp in 2005. He serves on the Board of Directors for all six banks associated with Security Bancorp.  Nick manages the investment portfolio and funds management duties for all six banks in the organization. He has also been Treasurer of United Telephone Company based in Chapel Hill, Tennessee.  Nick also serves as a Board Member of Advance Memphis. Nick is a graduate of Auburn University. He and his wife Kara live in Memphis and have 3 children and are members of Second Presbyterian Church.


Chris Nunn

Chris Nunn

Chris has been on the Security Bank Board since 2002.  Chris joined the organization after auditing financial institutions for KPMG in Memphis.  He is the Chief Financial Officer for Security Bancorp where he is responsible for financial analysis and reporting for the holding company and its subsidiary banks.  He serves on the Board of Directors for all of our affiliated banks.  He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Tennessee Bankers Association and the Independent Community Bankers of America.  Chris is a graduate of Rhodes College where he is an adjunct professor in the Department of Commerce and Business.  He and his wife Kim live in Memphis and have 3 children.

Jennifer, President and CEO of Security Bank, joined the Board of Directors in January of 2011.  She has held numerous positions in her 25 years at Security Bank.  She was previously Executive Vice President from 2009-2021, Senior Vice President of Operations and Cashier of Security Bank from 2007-2009, and Vice President of Operations from 2001 - 2007.  Prior to 2001, she served as Operations Officer of Cash Management for a number of years.  Jennifer also serves as Operations Support Manager of Bank of Halls, Halls, Tennessee; Bank of Crockett, Bells, Tennessee; Gates Bank and Trust, Gates, Tennessee; The Bank of Jackson, Jackson, Tennessee; and Patriot Bank, Millington, Tennessee.  Her education background includes Dyersburg State Community College, Union University, and Barret School of Banking.  Active in community affairs, she is currently the Security Bank Christmas Angel Coordinator.  Jennifer has served on the United Way – Dyer County Funds Allocation Committee, Security Bank’s Relay for Life, Chimes for Charity, and attends, First Baptist Church, Dyersburg, TN.  She is married to Steve who works for Dyersburg City School.  They have one son, JT.


Bill Reffert

Bill Reffert

Bill joined the Board in January, 2014.  He became President & CEO of ERMCO, a
leading producer of distribution transformers for the electric utility industry,
in 2003. Bill serves on Boards of the Chamber of Commerce, the DSCC Foundation
and the Tennessee Rehabilitation Center.  He holds an Engineering degree from the General Motors Institute and an MBA from Cleveland State University.  Bill and his wife Sheila, whose combined family consists of two daughters, a son and five grandchildren, reside in Dyersburg, where they attend First Baptist Church.


Ron Switzer

Ron became a part of the Security Bank Board of Directors in 2014. 
Ron has been an insurance broker for 37 years and with
Bradshaw and Company Insurors since 1985. He has served on Advisory Boards for
Grange Mutual Insurance Company, Aetna Insurance Company, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for St.
John's Community Services based in Washington D.C. Through the years, Ron has been president of Dyersburg Association of Life Underwriters, Dyersburg Jaycees, Dyersburg Golf Association, Dyersburg Dyer County Homecoming BBQ, Dyersburg Country Club, and numerous booster clubs.  He is a graduate of Union University. He and his wife Penny have two daughters and three grandchildren. They attend First United Methodist Church.


Johnny Dodson                              

Johnny Dodson

Johnny has most recently been on the Gates Banking and Trust Board since 1995. He owns and operates the farm that has been in his family over 100 years and has a diversified operation growing cotton, corn, soybeans, wheat, and raising cattle. He was appointed by the U. S. Secretary of Agriculture to serve as United Soybean Board Director from Tennessee for 9 years. He has been a member of the Tennessee Soybean Association for over 30 years, serving as secretary, treasurer, vice president and president of the state organization before being elected to serve 3 consecutive 3 year terms as a board member of the American Soybean Association. He became President and Chairman of ASA and also served as Chairman of the Tennessee Soy Promotion Board for nine years. He is also on the advisory board for Ag Innovation Development Group. He has been on the Board of the Dyer County Fair Association for over 40 years and on the Executive Board of the Dyer County Fair Association for over 30 years after serving as President. Johnny was instrumental in organizing the Fowlkes Volunteer Department serving as Chief for many years, and he continues to volunteer his time to help the community. Johnny has been married to his wife Laura for forty-two years and they have one son, John H. Dodson, III.
